London / The international Nepali film “Gorkha Warrior” is recognized as the premier center in Hollywood’s prestigious Leicester Square, London, and will have its red carpet premiere on September 10th. This film has already received clearance from the British film censor board for its premiere in the UK. The censor certificate allows audiences aged 15 and above to watch this film when it is screened in the UK.
Regarding the censor certificate, the film’s producer and director, Milan Chams, explained, “In this film, we have depicted the achievements of the Gorkhas in the Malayan War. The intense battle scenes have been carefully showcased, and the censor board here has granted it a certificate that allows viewers aged 15 and above to watch it.”
The preparations for this red carpet premiere in the UK have been underway for the past two weeks. Milan Chams, the producer and director, said, “We are fully prepared for the Gorkha Warrior premiere at the IMAX Cineworld in Leicester Square on September 10th. For this premiere, we have invited dignitaries, artists, professionals, journalists, and representatives from various organizations from Nepal and abroad, and they are expected to arrive here in the morning.”
He further added, “For this premiere, not only artists from Nepal but also diplomats and officials from Nepal will be flying to the UK.”
This international red carpet premiere in the UK aims to promote Nepali cinema on a global scale and expand the global market for Nepali films.
